45° buckle

Why don't all boots have the 45° heel lock buckle? My new dalbello blazes don't have it, so I just have to tigjetn it a ton, but I feel like it would be way easier with a lock buckle like on the Il Moro oo full tilts.
I don't see why this issnt commom

Because it doesn't work very well with two piece shells. The buckle would be right where the two pieces overlap and would impede natural motion of the boot.

You are talking about the difference between 2 piece and 3 piece boots. 2 piece boots are more common, they have buckles perpendicular to the 2 pieces (foot and cuff). 3 piece boots are descended from the raichele flexon, they have a tongue and that 45 degree buckle that pulls the tongue toward the heel.
