Does bobby browns great image highlight the healthyness of good old colorado culture?

It just seems too perfect that a kid who grew up skiing breck every weekend had the foresight and healthy guidance to not overtly advertise his smoking of weed like so many other attention whore pro skiers did.
Hes just a typical colorado kid in my opinion. Good looking, athletic, humble, outgoing and friendly, and stoked on life. I have met so many colorado kids who are quiet and soft spoken even though they are plenty smart. What is it about colorado where all this positivity and friendlyness is oozing from every orifice?
Is it just because of the mountains? Does the high altitude firewall and prevent dorky, pedantic thoughts?
Is trey parker being a homegrown hero have an effect?

Meh, thats not what ive seen but youre entitled to your perspective.

Also worth noting, it makes sense why people like adam delorme would choose breck as their home. His down to earthness makes it seem like breck/summit was absolutely the only place he could possibly get funneled into calling his new home.

They have actually done studies and living at altitude can cause depression, however CO gets more sunny days than pretty much any other state so there is that. In general Colorado is pretty laid back although Denver is fast becoming a Midwest hipster town but that is more from everyone moving there rather than the true locals. I think local Colorado kids are more soft spoken because CO is usually in some kind of spotlight for legal weed etc so they want to keep things low key. Matt Walker is also from Colorado (Aspen) and is one of the more chill pros you will meet.

Nice. Thats weird that altitude causes depression. For me the beauty of the snow and mountains makes me much more positive and happy than the depressing effect of the lower Oxygen levels.

Im with you on that. Its actually a pretty serious problem with suicides in ski towns though:

Interesting but to me it seems the reason is highlighted by this quote from your linked article

““As a citizen, you find that to make a living in one of these towns you often have to work two, three, four jobs, and often have to live in small, crowded, expensive places to survive in an economy that’s really designed for people spending large sums of money on a vacation.”
If everybody in resort areas made enough money to live comfortably as easily as in a normal vibrant city, and they could afford nice houses/condos and afford to heat them warm and cozy, I doubt you would see such high suicide rates. The whole setup that resorts use -“ hiring south americans who think 10 bucks an hour is good money, and tell american employees that their hardly livable wage is justified because they get a free ski pass”
Is probably very depressing for an american who wanted to live in the mountains. I think as web connectivity continues to allow more and more people to work from wherever they want to, people will be able to have well paying jobs and still enjoy the mountain living.
