Replying to East Coast vs West Coast

The whole east coast culture of "fuck the west coast" and "we don't need no mountains" is cool and all but west coast skiing is so much better. For one the conditions are so much better on the West Coast, early season is fresh pow out west compared to man made spring like conditions up in Maine. The terrain gets old in East, there is hardly any back country or powder days other than Vermont and rarely New York. Overall there is really nothing you could do out East that couldn't be done better out West.
