- You brought in 2 new pairs of skis to be mounted (m5 and hellbents)
- They mounted the m5 backwards
- They fucked up the mount on the hellbent "several times" and you have now them mounted +2cm from where you wanted
- They remounted the backwards pair and did nothing about the hellbents
- They refunded the m5 mount
In your opinion, does a free mount (probably around $50) is enough to compensate for:
- Both skis loosing substantial resell value due to the extra holes
- You'll very likely no longer be able to remount these skis
- Your hellbents are not mounted where you wanted them
No. The answer is no, it does not compensate, not even close.
If a shop advertised "For 2 binding mounts, 1 mount free if we drill extra holes and also not mount them where you want", would you go for that deal?
A fair deal, what a professional shop would have done is replace the 2 pairs right away, without you even needing to ask.
What you got is the shittiest possible deal. Those guys must be pretty happy about it though, they royally fucked up, twice, and all it cost them to fix those mistakes is about 30 minutes of labor time.

iRide1080sI have no idea how you are being so calm about this entire situation. They arguably ruined two pairs of skis that you had to pay a large amount of money to get shipped to NZ.
