Hello guys,
I am planning to visit Algonquin park next month. Skiing is one of my favourite hobbies. It's the sole reason why I am planning my trip during the month of December.
I am going to Algonquin Park for the first time for skiing. I heard, there are many skiing trails available in the park. Among them, I think Leaf Lake Ski trail will be the perfect fit for me. It's a groomed and trackset which makes the trail fun and safe at the same time. Since it is a 45 kilometres long track, I guess I have to decide on which are the loops I should take. I heard the Pinetree loop is popular among all the loops, so it must be crowded. If it's that case, then I would like to avoid it. Do you guys have any suggestions for me? Which loop will be better for an intermediate solo skier who loves a bit adventure and little scenery? Also, Do you think it will be easy to get reservations in Algonquin park this time around? And, if you guys have any tips about leaf lake trail or skiing in general, please share them with me.
Thank you.
