Honestly the business that they work for should pay minimum wage plus gas, if you can't afford that you don't really deserve to own a restaurant. Kinda bullshit how some restaurants have delivery fees that don't even go to the delivery driver.

When I was a delivery driver the delivery fee went to the workers comp. Lots of customers assumed it went to the driver though and didn’t tip.

No need to argue, but as a cook, that kind of thing eventually gets back to the kitchen. Just saying. Especially if you are ordering from dominoes or a place where the delivery drivers are cross-trained to help prep food. Thats a big ol' yikes.
