What's up
Im a Freshman at Tufts University and I've yet to find people that ski (other than racers :/) at my school.
Have also not found many chill people here in general lol.
If you're in the Boston area (or at Tufts!) and wanna ski/chill this winter BML

Im originally from Portland, OR so Hood is my home mtn :-)

I mean not many chill people apply to a college that costs $73,500. Probably a bunch of white dudes with big daddy pockets, never worked a day in there life or you got mad intelligent unathletic people. If skiing is your goal i would transfer to UVM save money with better options cooler people. Also could buy a season pass to every mountain in New England with that price difference. You wouldn’t save much money going to UVM, it’s the most expensive state school in the country for out of state students. When my sister went there it was almost $50,000 a year. Probably has only gone up since then too.

If you have any sort of brains you’ll get out of state money. Besides I believe $92,000 over four years is in fact a lot of money.

I’m at UNH but I have a lot of friends at some of the big Boston schools and they have good ski clubs and communities. Even URI has a ski scene so just do some digging, meet some people and try Facebook groups for your graduating class!

Depends on what you get with financial aid. Honestly I think paying for any college is kinda stupid. I went on the GI bill. I can’t imagine coming out and having debt. If you can’t pay for college, commute to an in state school and save your money or join the military or have some type of scholarship.

I will verify the URI ski scene is small but there is one. I’m a freshmen and there probably only 10 skiers that are good at park or urban I know off or know. It’s hard to find people that want to ski here and not just ski to get drunk ALL the time.

That’s exactly what I just said, scholarships and money that’s what it’s all about. You weigh the cost location and the majors the school has for you and figure out the best deal. 73k is not a good deal......
