Is it whack to wear snowboard outerwear brands?

Where I live there isnt a local ski shop, so I buy most if my outerwear from a local skate shop. An example is an airblaster bib( which is way higher quality than my old saga bib) is it whack for me to wear snowboard brands or does it not matter?

honestly doesn't matter at all, half the time the make nicer shit anyway

I'm on my 3rd 686 coat - bought before they "became a ski outerwear brand"... whatever that means

Nobody really cares about brands. (or shouldn't)
But I bought some snowboard pants last year and they got shredded in half a season. Totally forgot about the importance of have reinforced pant legs on the inner ankle

I wear the same 686 jacket I bought in 2006 and love it. I really dont think anyone cares, outerwear is outerwear.

How in the fuck do you figure that? Most of the stuff on the snowboard side = toys. Its in line with the lowest level ski gear.

As said, it doesn't matter. If you're really concerned learn how to sew and put a patch over the branding

Personally I try to pick brands that support skiers & skiing but if there are no other options or I particularly like something, I'll take it regardless. Work with what you've got and if that means your choice is mainly snowboard brands, go for it.
