Durable, playful skis?

I rode the honey badgers last season and I enjoyed then a bunch. I loved how playful and soft the ski was but the edge cracked underfoot and the base is separating from the ski. I loved the honey badgers but I think its time to switch it up to a different company.

Im looking for any recommendations for skis that are below 95 underfoot and are a more playful, poppy ski but I would also prefer them to be lightwieght so its easy to whip spins around in. Not going off massive booters, mostly small jumps maybe 35 feet max. Also a good warranty would be awesome since I have had prettty poor experience with Lines customer service in the past. Also I ski 171s so Id like to find skis in that size.

I have looked into Vishnu but theyre sold out. Is there anywhere else you know I could get them from? Also do you think that moving from 171 to 177 would be a difficult adjustment or not really?

Cant really help ya with finding a pair, but if you get the chance pick em up for sure. Also, they are technically 177 but they ride short due to the rockered profile

Dull the edges underfoot on your skis a ton, that helps with edge cracks. For durability, every ski I've owned gets trashed after on season but the ones that were still rideable were K2 Shreditor 92s (very similar to the poacher), and ON3P Magnus. Currently on Icelantic nomad 95s and they are absolute tanks. Interested to see what happens to them at the end of the season.

Anything not made in china will be more durable try to get some made in the us. As for recommendations icelantic nomad 95s are soft af and made in the us

Between the magnus and the nomads which did you find to be a softer, more playful ski and which where more lightweight?

I was looking at the magnus and nomad 95 for a while before I ended up going with kartels. From what I've heard, the magnus is stiffer/heavier than the nomad but still super playful because of rocker (also narrower than the nomad). My shop has nomads so I've actually flexed/felt them and they are super light and pretty soft. Sounds like both are really durable and playful.

The nomads definitely felt softer and more playful, but that's because the magnus is pretty stiff underfoot. Magnus is 125g lighter at 181cm, barely noticeable.

some suggestions:
Armada ARV 96: They got stiffened up this season/smaller edges, but in past years, they have a nice forgiving flex and thicker edges. The width isn't too bad either even if its above 95.
Icelantic Nomad 95: super playful ski. A little soft for my liking, but really great for doing what you want. They could very easily fit your style

Some skinnier options:
Armada ARV 86: feels more like a softened up comp ski, but they could be a good option
J skis Whipits: probably your ideal ski. Really soft and playful. They have a lot of similarities to Line skis in the way that they feel on snow. I have seen some durability issues in the past, but they are good guys making some great skis. There are better skis for performing outside of the park, though.
Vishnu Wet: Pure park ski. I got on the 177s and the 183s and the 177s ride SO short. They were gnarly to use outside of the park, or hitting bigger jumps or rails, but I would be getting the 183s based on my size, which I consider one of the best skis I have been on.
Facet Regulators: A little more stable than J's, but really playful and super light. Also built in the same factory as Icelantic, so you know the quality is the best of the best.

With the exception of Armada, the rest are all small companies. Help out the homies !
