Replying to working at ski camp?

since my parents are allowing me to apply to a boarding school in maine for next year where i'd get to ski everyday that costs lotta $$$$ i understand that they don't wana pay for camp this summer. But i still wana be able to go so I was thinking that since im 16 now, maybe i could work/ volinteer at one of the camps on either whilster or hood and I could ski for free. anyone ever tried anything like this before?
