CT 2.0 Mounting Point

Mattgeraghty3Hey just looking for some advice as to where I should mounot my new faction candide 2.0s. They're the 17/18 version. I live in whistler and am using these as my every day ski and then have bent chetlers as my powder/touring ski.

I tend to ski hard and fast almost always off piste but would also consider myself quite playful like to jib and hit features. I'd say I ski about 25% park 75% all mountian

Let me know where you think I should mount them recommended or forward or back from there

DensecloudsI have those as well, with bentchetlers being my pow ski. Rode about 80 days on the 2.0 up at snowbird in all mtn conditions, I had them mounted in between the candide line and all mtn line, and they were perfect. I still enjoy doing a lot of switch riding/landings and still have plenty of tail to do so. I actually asked Adam Delorme on IG where he mounts his 2.0's last year, and he was also a a couple cm behind the candide line "being an old school racer". Go watch his verbier shots in "This is home" and you can see they aren't fully center mounted.

exile_chDude thanks for this thread, I just bought a 18/19 pair and I'll be mounting them next week! I've been on the edge as well and I've been looking for advice everywhere. Didn't help as I got suggestions all over the board. Even a guy from Faction on a forum saying they should be mounted at the Candide line and nowhere else. But then, got the guy on the Faction website chat saying All Mountain line etc.
Anyway, I'm the same as you and decided on 1cm in front of the All Mountain line. Might go for 1,5 but not further.

I'm happy with that.

JayKalafatisSorry to bring up an old thread, but I just picked up my 2020 CT 2.0's. I ski Bentchetler 120's as my pow ski as well. For reference, where do you have your BC's mounted?I have mine 2 cm back of factory, and was thinking of mounting my CT's 1.5 cm back of the candide line.

Mattgeraghty3Hey man I actually don't ski the Bents anymore (picked up a set of Head Kore's that a switched my bindings over to) but I had them mounted 2.5 back from true centre (I think) and I went with 1.5 back from the Candide line and have to say I love them. I can't say whether that's better or worse than at the Candide line but they are still super fun and playful and I never really feel like I need to be any further forward to be honest!

animatorI’ve skied most the CT series and they’re 100% better on the Candide line. These are skis meant to be spun and skied switch and the all mountain line ruins that completely. Just ask @skidemon22

GagaFrillyI just purchased the 202 CT 2.0 and I don't think they have the candide/all mountain lines on them. I want to mount them at the Candide recommended but am finding many different measurements for what that is. I believe it is at -1.15cm but I have only found that for older models and not 2020. Do you know if anything has changed or should I go for that?
