IDK what im doing what to get my bf for christmas

Hey sorry if this is against the rules I can delete it if you need me to. I see my boyfriend on this website literally 24/7 so I figured this is my best way to get ideas.

I'm looking for something to get him but I have no idea where to start. We're both really broke and I can spend at most $75. If that isn't enough then can someone show me some alternatives?

He's obviously into skiing, and already has all the gear. But are there brands/apparel/accessories/items within my 75 price range that anyone could suggest that he would love?? I just really want to make him happy :)

Tell us more. Can you get into his search history. What other weird sites has he gone to. Just post them up all up on here and we can tell you which ones are ski stuff and get some ideas from that. (also we can have so lol's with his search history for sure)

Does he need new mitts or gloves? I'd be totally stoked to get a new pair of Kinco gloves or mitts. Lots of people like the ski glove which is Kinco model 901 and in my opinion the mitts model 901T are the best mitts. You might find them on sale for like $20 or full price is still under $30. Sno seal waterproofing is the best for leather gloves and mitts and it's cheap too (comes in a blue tube or tin)

Does he like dressing like a goofy Saga kid? Check it out https://www.sierratradingpost.com/s~saga/ you can buy a SAGA hoodie for like $15 or $20 or a hat for $8. He'd know you were trying. Lots of other stuff on closeout right now too if you look around.

NS has hats etc. too in the shop now.

I think a ski movie and a t shirt/hoodie would be a dope Christmas gift. Other ideas could be new lenses for his goggles or some kinco mittens.

does he go to different mountains (as opposed to getting a pass to somewhere and only going to the places on the pass)? i love getting lift tickets to different mtns as gifts

Sorry I've never been able to pose on skis in Wyoming. Only driven through. So whoever you thought you found must be someone else.

Gotta be skiin' and peacockin' on the mountain tho 25 months a year so you got that right.

Someday though. Wyoming will not know what just happened when it happens.

Ok just read it. I kinda get the author. Some people take it too far or use there drinking as another excuse to be an asshole. One of the first weekends last year I watched two guys get into it throwing beer cans at each other in the lift line then escalated the argument for an entire lift ride yelling between chairs and proceeded to brawl which resulted in 7 people getting trespassed and banned from Timberline. These guys were drinking and a holes though and that second part is a major part of the equation.
Usually drinking coffee or V8 and trying to get a ton of laps but sometimes I'm just out on the ski hill enjoying a beer and there's nothing wrong with that either.
I wonder what they think of over-sized outerwear in the backcountry? I should submit an article for them to publish, "just think of the weight penalty incurred by wearing outerwear that is one or several sizes too big. "

Many huge mtns actually atarted giving out kincos for work gloves. Mtn ops shreds gloves, kincos hold up to a beating. If you do a few rounds with some snow seal theyre solid.

I rock those or sagas I got in the 75% off sale.

I’d look into getting him some ski brand street wear. Such as T Shirts from “Level 1” or “Saga”.

If not, you cannot go wrong with getting him new ski socks, under armor long sleeves, long underwear.

Can also just look at what gear he wears and then go onto the brands website and buy their merchandise. Stickers, keychains, hats, t-shirts..etc.

Dope ski socks all day. We skiers can never have too many socks. Try Smartwool brand or anything else that's made out of "merino wool". He'll be stoked.

As said before socks are perfect. I like Darn Tough Vermont socks. Also I got some Bombas Ski socks as a gift last Christmas and they're quite possibly the most comfortable sock I've ever had. You can never have too many ski socks.

Face mask. Balaclava. Or Under Armour Tactical Hood- $20

Compression shorts if he wears those to ski in. Unless he's one of those weirdos that skis in boxers under leggings. They exist.

Thermal baselayers

Also agree with Kincos. Such a good value. Most on amazon cost around $15-20 and come with a little packet of wax, so you could at least temporarily hold off on the sno seal and let him buy that.

Newschoolers pack of 4 stickers only cost $1 shipped soooooo 300 stickers for $75????!?!?

Or knit him a scarf. Plenty of easy videos online. I'd take a scarf as a gift for sure.

Ski movies

Does he wax his own skis? Scrapers cost a few bucks. You can always use a new plastic scraper.

Beef jerkey because who doesn't like beef jerkey? And if your bf is vegan well there's vegan jerkey too

I am the boyfriend in question. It was for my bday not xmas so that sneaky bitch made the thread title different. Got a dope Jiberish shirt and she's getting me a lift ticket to Steamboat for when we go out there later this month.
