Getting a new pair of park skis

Hey!
As the tilta says I am getting a new pair of park skis. I have an old pair of Armada Ar17s, works great but feel like I want to get a new pair.
I want to get a pair that shreds in the park, nothing else. B)

EDIT; I also want to get a new pair of boots. Maybe a pair of FT. Thoughts?

It’d be helpful to know your height, weight, age (if you’re still growing) & what you typically hit in the park. Like for instance 60/40 jumps/rails etc?

Also, how long were the AR7’s ?

Also full tilts vary in last width & flex for different foot widths & insteps. So I would do some research into that or at least go to a boot fitter

Are u looking for something soft and buttery or something that'll give u the best stability on landings?

Pretty much both I guess. Want to butter cause I like it. More jumps than rails, but want to get into rails to be able to do some sick edits yo´

176cm long, 70kg, not growing. More jumps than rails, but will be changing that soon maybe.
Think the Ar7s are around 170-180. Cant remember in my head.

Head Franewall feels really nice on jumps for me. Im a little bit taller and lighter and than u and i love my framewalls. The pop and stability on them feels incredible

Right on. Ar7 sizes were 171, 176 & 181..no worries.

If you’re digging the Ar7’s, what would you like different with a new pair of park skis? Softer flex, rocker or do you like the stability & traditional feel that the Ar7 offers?

I personally dig skis on the wider side for park skiing, the width isn’t as quick edge to edge & has a surfy, stable platform that you might like for jumps (& rails of course). So without knowing the answer to the question above possibly look into a wider park ski offering that is becoming more popular in this day & age. Something in the 176-184 cm range & 95-102mm underfoot.

I would take a look at a ski similar in build to line chronics then, wouldn't recommend chronics tho cuz the durability sucks but most companies make skis built around similar models

Yeah, I like the ar7s but they are destroyed now. So yeah might pick up something in that stýle. Looked at the Armada Edollo but they are costy.

Just go off of what brand you prefer pice line and looks to determine the ski there are too many good park skis to give an accurate opinion without knowing or seeing you ski.

Everyone has different feet I’d go to your local shop and try on every boot they have.

I guess! The problem with the boots is that they felt good in the shop but not after a few laps in te slope. Ended up selling them and getting a pair of Fisher Vacuum. Might just end up using them for both piste, park and off-piste.

Did you get the full tilts heat molded to your feet?

Well if you do get new FT boots definitely get them molded they probably were for the original owner but you probably have a different foot shape so the fit was probably funky
