I'm stupid, now my fingers hurt

Dunno if this should be in gear talk or here
So I have a box with my new pivots 14 in them because they haven't been mounted, and when I was cleaning my room I got some cleaning spray, and me being like "MY PRECUOUSSS" I Went to clean them off, but the binding just popped and closed on 3 of my fingers. I was lucky only the nails, but am I the only one this has ever happened to? Or "ops just dumb"

The ol' FKS thumb, yeah man, it can do some real damage to your fingers. My thumb got sucked into a pivot 14 heel piece last December when I was working at a shop and it was bad news. My whole thumbnail came off a month and a half later and even now there is still some evident damage under the nail. I'll post up a pick if I can find one, but needless to say, don't fuck around with unmounted FKS heel pieces, they bite.

This shit hurts sooooo bad!!! I got a pair of pivots for the first time and was so stoked driving home I took them out and was playing with them and got it snapped on my thumb. Almost crashed the damn car trying to get it off in panic mode hahah

I was messing around with my pivots and they snapped shut on my finger. Cut me wide open, got 7 stitches.
