Swapping Intuition liners from different last boots

I have a pair of boots with a 101mm last with an Intuition liner than has packed out to the point of being too loose. I have another, new Intuition liner from a 97mm last boot that I was thinking about putting in the 101mm boot. Mondo is the same on both boots. Would this make sense to do if my intention is to snug-up the larger last boot? I don't know whether these lasts are produced specifically for the shell last they come in? If so, I'm thinking the 101mm boot would be too large for the 97mm boot last.

If you put a narrower/lower volume liner into a wider/higher volume boot, then it will move around a lot (or at the very least be looser).

If you want to snug up a boot, then you put a higher volume liner into it.
