So my dad just made me paranoid, because apparantely everytime theres a lot of rain in november winter turns out to be shit. Thi goes for europe of course, you uncle sam's always get a shittone of snow. Please cheer me up. Thank you.
You kidding. The Canadians up in Whistler are the only ones who ever get enough snow. Here in Colorado there’s only 2 ski areas on the front range that are open. Both with less than 5 runs. Hang in there everyone

Colorados state wide snowpact is 150% of average for date. Resorts are opening ahead of schedule.

This map is accurate, but its pretty worthless. What's the median SWE for nov 7, like a foot of snow? So CO is 200% because it got 2 feet of snow in one storm. Utah has been dry af for a couple weeks and were probably gonna be low on that map until it starts to dump in december.

Best solution is to come to the realization that you have zero control over the weather and how much snow falls, just go enjoy it no matter what happens.
