Broken Ribs

Three weeks ago I didn't quite have enough speed to make it onto a hand rail and smashed my lower side on it. It was feeling better to the point where I kinda forgot about it but now it hurts way worse to the point where it paralyzes me with pain. Has anyone else broken ribs before? How long did they take to heal? I'm definitely gonna go to the hospital after work to get it checked out.

Well, I went to the hospital and the nurse lady told me to stop being a little bitch. Y'all are right though, I can still walk!

Bruised ribs feel very similar to broken ribs. And anyways, even if they were broken, docs cant really do anything. Docs stopped bandaging ribs because it runs the risk of restricting your breaths which can lead to fluid in the lungs.

I had the exact same thing happen to me and it sucks but you'll forget about it in a few weeks.

I didn't have a full break so I just toughed it out. I probably should have skipped PE for a month

Still good you went. If it was that severe pain that you couldn't move, either you're a bitch or perhaps something more serious than a broken rib was going on. Three weeks out tho is a long time so if anything serious you prob woulda died by now.
