I'm an ex-racer looking to drop my frontsided skis for something more freestyle-oriented. I settled on the 2019 K2 Sight due to its stiff flex; I plan on using it mostly for all mountain + carving but would love to learn some basic freestyle skills like switch riding / butters as well. Tech wants to know where to mount the bindings; on the 169cm model K2 recommends 3.3cm back from center but I've heard some differing opinions. Some park skiers say to mount it true center, others say to compromise and take it 2cm back. How difficult would it be to ride switch on the recommended mid sole mount? Should someone in my position bother messing with it, or only mount more center once the freestyle skills are there to back it up?
Skis: 2019 K2 Sight 116-88-110 @ 169cm length
Bindings: 2019 Tyrolia Attack2 13 DIN
Thanks dudes
