Ok so I was surfing around Instagram and I came by this company named Envy Snow Sports has created these things where they are putting snowboard boots and bindings on your skis. As I read more about it apparently their whole business model is based around comfort and how uncomfortable ski boots are and how they want people to feel comfortable. Im not vibeing with shit at all but just wanted to see what others had to say about this. https://www.envysnowsports.com/ski-frame/
The helicopter was just ready to come out and start filming.. I just wanted to get one more in so I could, you know, just be ready. oooh. OW, BROKE MY ANKLES ARE BROKEN, MY ANKLES ARE BROKE. His ankles are broken! I GOT BROKEN ANKLESSS, AHHHHHHHHHH. Just..didn't go fast enough. Sssuckkssss. Right when I took off I knew something was kinda wrong, right at about 720 I knew it was gonna be rough. When I was in the air I didn't really hear anything. A really dead silence and then I hit the wall and heard a really loud explosion you know just right in my boots. Felt like someone packed dynamite in there you know what I mean lit em and my feet blew up it was crazy
Legit if people would just go to a boot fitter when they buy their ski boots then we wouldn’t have to hear all of the bitches cry about how ski boots don’t fit and hurt their feet. Ski boots aren’t the problem, people just buy boots that don’t fit
I'd like to try them, seems like it's a shell and then the snowboard boot acts as the liner, probably hard to get good performance out of them, might be ideal if you're a boarder that likes to ski once in a while
SofaKingSickyou mere mortals prob can't even wrap your minds around my new hybrid bastard of confused snow sports
One of the maintenance guys at a mountain I worked at drilled some snowboard bindings into ski blades. I rocked them to a few events. Strapping in there's a 50 50 chance of certain death, but oh what a way to go out.
I've met a couple of people who used the apex ones. One was an old guy who said he couldn't get his ankle into a ski boot because it. The second was a guy who used to work on a lot of comps so he was always in and out of his skis and walking around a lot. For the second guy it would make sense since waling in ski boots sucks but he could still ski when he needed to
