BrawnTrendsBought a pair of skis with FKS mounted on them. My BSL is 300mm (Hawx Ultra in 26.5) and they were mounted for a boot at 310mm. I thought I'd have to redrill but actually only had to work with the adjustment screws and they fit my BSL while still being in the appropriate forward pressure range.
vermontanaBumping this for a question I've searched around a bit without luck.
Is there any reason I can't screw the BSL adjustment in all the way to where it stops? I'm moving to a smaller bsl boot and forward pressure seems to be correct only with the screws all the way at the smallest bsl (past the last hash marks). Really hoping to avoid a remount.
coronaAlso follow up: Would most shop techs centre the adjustment for your boot when they mount pivots? Or do they not care and only make sure they have enough play to properly adjust forward pressure
