Best ski cameras for under $125?

Is that budget completely unrealistic? I was looking at GoPro Hero 5 sessions but I'd probably have to buy used and that gets risky...any recs? I'm sorry if there are already a million threads like this, link me to them if they already exist.

Forget video, just use a Polaroid camera, then you can fill up your room with blurred pictures of you skiing and it will look so cool and so hip!

You can probably find a gopro session for that, attached to a handle or pole for stability

Not really that sketch to buy used especially with gopros. Jerrys used it to video them going down a blue groomer and a hike they went on. I'm willing to bet 75% of people with gopros haven't used it more then 10 times.

That’s good to know, I’ve heard a lot of mixed stuff from friends about buying used but I guess I should look for broader feedback.

get one of those lens you can just stick at the back of your phone if you know what i mean

This isnt a terrible option. Most newer phones take pretty decent video.

Go pro has been decent for a while now. I think mine is a 4 and it gets surprisingly good shots.

Use your phone (preferably with a gimbal) like said before, or buy a used gopro. Hero 6 or higher are a lot better/easier to use but would be a bit more pricey, not too many options for so cheap tho

I bought one at a yard sale for $15 and love it! Although it is a pain to digitize they are fun to film with. if you go with amazon or ebay you will maybe get a deal but they will be somewhere around 50 for sure.

Keep some portable battery chargers in your jacket with a hand warmer in said pocket (though you may catch on fire). I can ski or be in the back country all day with no phone battery issues.
Most phones are IP67 or better now so falling in snow wont be an issue. The case would be needed for when you eat it.
