I feel like this year, people are pushing it really, really hard. Its fucking insane

Bummed to hear hometown hero Dj Brandt dropping out. He apparently rode the first run with cracked ribs and bruised heels, i don't blame him for not going up again after crashing on his first run.

Lacondeguy's line should have won, but Rheeder's was amazing too. Felt so bad for Jordie Lunn being sick. Starting his line off with the Cork 720 and then having to walk down.

Remy and Brendog's line's were my favorites though. Love me some old school tech freeride lines. Love all the rider's, but too many of them are slopestyle riders doing a freeride contest.

ThaLoraxLacondeguy's line should have won, but Rheeder's was amazing too.

Why? Rheeder oppo 3d the top drop, Lacondeguy straight-aired it, Rheeder's line after that was very gnar into a massive flat drop backie, while Lacondeguy had a fast top line with only the double drop being the gnar portion, into a small but tech flat 3 into decent sized backie drop. At the bottom they both hit the same line and while Lacondeguy did a superman over the big double jump that Rheeder straight-aired, Lacondeguy did a backie of the last drop while Rheeder did a 360 (considered as more difficult of a trick off a drop). Last jump, Lacondeguy did a flat 3 while Rheeder did a backie can (hard to say which one is considered as more difficult).

People who say Lacondeguy clearly should have won were not paying attention.
