Replying to Has big mountain skiing gotten worse or is it just me?

It might just be the crop of films I've seen in the past couple years, but it seems like the level of big mountain/bc skiing has declined in the past 5 or so years or maybe even earlier. Of course Candide has pulled some mind blowing lines but it seems like athletes are just not pushing as hard as they used to. I understand pros like Sean Pettit wanting to scale back from the stress and focus on fun/style, but selfishly, its just so epic to see athletes push the limits of what's rideable. Maybe its because the non-park area of skiing has become increasingly more about ski mountaineering/touring and movie segments have followed suit? Anyways, urban/park has only gotten more fun to watch over the years but I just want to have my mind blown by some gnarly big mountain skiing once again and lately many segments have been kind of lack luster. Maybe I am just watching the wrong shit. Have you all seen any standout big mountain segments lately?
