Chubz. To be completely honest bloom is probably the worst quality product I have ever bought from a skiing brand. I’ll never buy their outerwear again
Hey Chubz,
Sorry to hear that you weren't happy with your purchase. I assume you bought a pair of pants from our 17/18 release. For this release, we picked out a fabric that was a little more cloth-like and thus less durable, more prone to ripping, easier to damage. Unfortunately, we weren't aware of its fragility until post production - once people were out skiing in these goods. Although we haven't had many complaints, it was definitely frustrating to have a lower quality product than usual. Reliability in outerwear depends mostly upon the fabric itself. Feel free to send me a PM chubz - maybe we can change your opinion about our brand.
For everyone else reading this, I don't want this remark to turn you off from Bloom. Numerous people on our team also were frustrated by the 17/18 fabric and requested that we bring back fabrics we had used in the past. Zahner especially.
Thus for our release this year - 19/20 - our new outerwear line uses a ripstop fabric. As the name suggests, this fabric is constructed to take abuse from trees, concrete, ice, hard slams, etc without ripping or becoming damaged. Its a fabric we've used in the past and will likely to continue to use in the future considering its durability and all the positive feedback we've received regarding it.
Our new goods will be out 11/25 and I am fucking pumped to share them with all of you. Thanks to all of you who keep supporting Bloom and believe in our vision.
