Replying to College kid Summer Job/Travel Opportunities

Sup guys, looking for ways to make money over the summer and travel/experience someplace cool.
Im at the university of Utah and want to start spitballing summer plans.

So far:
I could potentially stay in SLC and learn to mountain bike and fly fish while working at a coffee shop.
I have a friend in Colorado that says he could secure me a job trimming bud.
I also know someone that spent last summer working as a whale watching guide in AK
Work in a ski factory for someone and learn how to build skis so I could experiment with that in my free time later on

Being able to ski in the summer would be awesome, but it does not need to be tied to that.

I also traveled to California this past fall break and fell in love with surfing. So someplace where you can do that would be awesome as well

I am not opposed to leaving the country either so dont be afraid to suggest something like that.

What have you guys done in the past, or whats something that you always thought was cool?
