BigPurpleSkiSuitWhy tho?
CamJeppCheap lift tickets, no parents, party time, plus a fun lil roadtrip.
BigPurpleSkiSuitUnderstandable, just seems like a long drive especially with snowbird and alta right there
brotherdadI actually had one of the deepest days of my life at Brian Head. I think it was something like 40” overnight. The problem with that mountain is the inbounds shit is so god damn flat. People were taking off their equipment and just walking down. It was quite funny.
We ended up lapping the gates off the skiers left side of what I believe was chair 7. It was untracked pillows and short steep chutes. I’d recommend sticking over there if they’ve got new snow.
@LANTASKIBrian Head is really flat. There is some good BC not far away at Cedar Breaks NM..see Desert Spires edit by the Provo Bros.
If I were y'all id hit up Eagle Pt on the way down which is about the same size, steeper, and has better sidecountry access
CamJeppThanks for the info. All of that area is listed as single-blacks, so I assume it's pretty mellow compared to LCC lines...? Like you can just mob without really worrying about anything??
brotherdadThey are not even close to LCC lines haha. Very low consequence and really short, but still pretty fun to rip around.
CamJeppSounds kinda sick actually. And it was pretty low traffic skier-wise? Or does it get tracked out pretty fast? (I'm used to Snowbird where you lose most of the soft snow within the first two hours of the morning hahaha)
brotherdadIt was dead when I was there. We were the only group lapping. Fresh snow all day.
