Stand Out Moments

I’m assuming that everyone on here has probably some extent of edit addiction especially with the pre season stoke at an all time high, so everyone should have a few stand out moments from an edit somewhere that just stuck with them.
Personally for me ones gotta be the first ever 8 out I saw and that was in the Jock Edit by Cole Drexler. Throw down moments, tricks, etc from edits that stuck wit ya.

Tanner Hall's segment in Ski Movie 3: the front line. Everything in that edit was perfect.
Mark Abma segment in In Deep. The soundtrack made the whole edit really stand out.
Rory Bushfield's switch double backflip on the Whistler Jump in 7 sunny days.
The Blizzard of ahhhhhhs. Made in 87 but still on par with todays stuff

You know, it's interesting - I just rewatched the full extended segment of that Whistler jump where Bushfield tossed that sw dub backflip with Abma and Hoji (it's in Push, btw), and the crazy thing is that almost nobody is wearing a helmet. It doesn't feel like the movie is that old, but I guess helmets have become way way more prevalent in a decade. I really didn't notice that at the time.

His segments in Ski Movie 2: High Society, Ski Movie, and Global Storming are all legendary too. Turn of the millennium SethMo with the different coloured hair every season was a vibe that I feel really defined that era.

Theres something to be said for any old ski production. Its probably the dopest shit to look back and see how the passion and sport has been built from there. Even the "newer" old stuff like the first season of traveling circus... which was intended to be a one year thing until it gained a massive amount of traction. But above all, freestyle skiing still has so much progression ahead of it. The mystery of whats next and knowing that we are all a part of forming that is so fucking sick to me. I came across a thread where Walker was looking for a rossi sponsorship like 15 years ago and reading thru that shit and looking at where skiing is now is mind blowing. Big ups to you for throwin down that edit!
