Used too, it's a knee and foot killer though eventually so I stopped. It is however the best way to build willpower. My favorite quote, from some sprinter was and still is, "most people never run far enough on their first wind to realize they have a second."

In 7th grade I tried xc instead of football. Yup went back to football. Xc is awful and I almost pooped my pants.

i did track in hw, cross country is dope tho I believe that running long distances can offer great reward to oneself.

Like running by itself but hate racing. It's such a mental thing and I end up getting caught up in nervousness. Still a dope sport, respect to all the runners.

We got an xc team started again in HS. I love trail running. Slowed down after knees were shot. Havent run in 5 years due to a bad head injury.

Running is the shit. Hope ill be able to run again someday.

was big into it in highschool. stopped placing well and realized that actually I hate running and I just enjoyed doing well and winning shirts.

From the responses on this thread sounds like being a runner and also being a skier kills the knees

Yeah. I mean anything can fuck up the knees but both can do some damage.

Worth it though. Skiing and running are dope as fuck.
