What should I look for in a boot to help with shin bang

I had shin bang almost all last season and I’m looking for a boot that will help a little

Shin bang is usually a sign that your boots are too big causing them to slam around inside the boot even when tightly buckled.
Get properly measured by a boot fitter and get boots that fit your feet better. Wouldn’t doubt you’re a shell size or two larger than you should be.

AND don’t fall into the “has to be a Park boot” as there may be a boot that better fits your foot out there. Many park pros ski on race/all mountain boots.

True shit!

Also, one thing that has helped me with shin bang is to not tighten the booster strap super tight.

just to hammer the point home a little more..

boot fitter and boots that actually fit. Do not get hung up on boot brands. find a boot that fits and is recommended by the fitter and go with that. no one cares if they are FT or not...

Boot fitter as mentioned and try to land with some pressure on your shins for a relaxed landing Bc if you land leaning back and ur boots don’t fit right that’ll slam ur shins and cause shinbang.
