What is with big mountain skiers and criticals?

What is the obsession for critical grabs from big mountain skiers? You rarely see crits in park edits but big mountain cuts there is always a crit 3 or rodeo 5 crit. Why do they like it so much?

Because big mountain riders are ultra enlightened, and therefore know that criticals are the dopest.
