Replying to Need new all-mountain skis
Hello, my name is Marto and I ski at Snowbird and Alta in Utah. I am an advanced type 3+ skiier that skis everything. I am 24 yo, 5'7", 160 pounds. I'll likely buy the skis used, so budget isn't really a problem.
I'm looking for an all-mountain ski (~100-110 width) that is easy to turn and can handle deep powder in the trees. A partial or full twin would be fun, but isn't necessary.
I've been skiing an old Rossi (160 length, 95 width); I like that is easy to turn on, but they don't hold up in the powder. I also have a pair of Dynastars (~174 length, 107 width) but they seem too long, are hard to turn in, and are just difficult to ski in general (hurt my shins, feet, etc).
Hoping to find something that is wide for powder but still good at carving and making quick turns. Thanks!
