Frisco Colorado would be a solid choice. In that area you’ll have access to Breckinridge, Abasin, keystone, and Copper all within 15- 30 min bus rides.
Lots of hotels where can get a package deal for hotels and passes.
Obviously if your around during the holidays price will go up and more people will be around.
If you go during a non holiday week you’ll have the place to yourself.
Really good skiing in all the ways
you want it. Steeps, trees, cruisers.
Another option in Colorado would Aspen/Snowmass. Would be a little bit more expensive but 4 mountains with free bus system. After spending multiple seasons there I can vouch that you’d have more than enough challengeing terrain to satisfy you.
