Off to Japan in Jan, wanting a touring set up for the deep.
The quiver so far - Armada TST 184, Armada Bubba, Moment Deathwish 184. Have prev had a Salomon Czar and Rocker 122...
I ski pretty lazy when I'm tired, bit of a backset bandit so need a ski that won't punish my lazy ass/average technique, I'm from NZ, but would ski Japan more than here, looking for something that I can charge reasonably hard in that's still pretty playful and won't destroy me every time I land something backseat. I'm 5'11 and 95kg for what that's worth too..
Will whack the Shift binder on 'em, I'm not a weight nazi (running Atomic Wayamkers and I ski with a 6 pack etc) and realistically I'm gunna be doing day trips (not big massive multi-dayers), a lot of which will be out the back via the resort, so something that's more stable and not gunna chatter like a cheap hooker on a Satdee night is more important to me than saving 100g, I'm sure that will change down the track, but for now the ability to bust a bit of crud and straightline shit is more important.. New to touring as well.
Budget wise I'm fortunate enough to be pretty flexible, but I'd rather not to have shit money on something from DPS...
Would be super appreciative of any advice or even peoples thoughts on the mentioned skis - or others that might fit the bill.
