Carhartt snow pants ?

I’m interested in buying some Carhartt snow pants. The only thing I’m worried about is the fact that they aren’t really waterproof. I’m pretty sure I’d be able to add some spray that would make them waterproof but I don’t know if it’d be too much of a hassle. Anyone had these pants, or heard anything about them? Should I get them ? Thanks!

Are they actual snow pants, duck bibs, or the 'extremes' bibs? I live in the unlined duck bibs and the arctic insulated duck bib for work and they woul be pretty terrible for skiing. Not waterproof, not breathable, heavy, bulky, etc. With that said, ive toured in my insulated bibs in antarctica and survived.
