ive tried on the classic and it felt really uncomfortable around my shin and foot is it . like that for anyone else?

Full tilts can be tough go get a good boot fit from a reliable ski shop, not your corporate garbage where the majority doesn't know shit and let them know you are after a full-tilt that fits your foot. They have a huge range of boots and one will surely fit your style.

I can agree to that they have 2 boots (Narrow and Wide) with lots of flex options that will fit almost any style but if they don't fit in those 2 styles well

FT is def lighter than Dalbellos and seems to have better flex motion as they were designed by NASA employed scientists although I havent rode in a pair yet. I may pick up FT's touring boots in the future when I get a pair of touring skis.

Try a descendent. The classic and the dropkick tend to be pretty skinny in the foot.

In all seriousness tho, full tilts are really the best boot u can buy. But if something else fits ur foot better, then go for that. They’re pretty damn comfy. I’ve skied multiple 13 hour days with 1-2 breaks, and the only thing that wasn’t sore was my feet. Plus they’re super easy to get on and off, and they look sick. Very durable as well. 9.5/10, would recommend to a friend. Thanks full tilt!!

FTs fit amazing for some foot shapes. I had to size into something wider. Even the Descendants didn't cut it.

They're popular bc of marketing. I had a pair of 2011 classics and I got frustrated from breaking buckles and eventually cracking a shell from a hard landing on a cold day. Switched to dalbello and never looked back. Let me point out that I've always had my FT shells professionally molded cause my foot is wide as fuck and I have a really high arch, so the ability that a 3 piece boot has to move upward based on buckle tension is really important, but when dalbello had tougher shells and more rigidity, I found it a no brainer. Go to a boot fitter, but remember fit is most important, but should not be your only consideration.

I know it can be done, pretty much anything can and will break on occasion. Probably more likely on a two-buckle design than a three or four? The buckle/cable system on full tilts is practically a consumible, people keep spares on hand.

I am surprised that their "wide" model is only a 102mm last. It fits me fine but I don't really consider my foot to be that wide, I also have a fairly low instep and it's still really snug in that aspect as well.

i got my first full tilts this season and they're great, but they do kinda hurt on the shins. You just have to get used to them since they are a taller boot and the boot you had before may have been less flexy ans shorter. other than that, great freestyle boot

If they hurt on the shins they're not great. Great is a boot that doesn't hurt anywhere, even after a long day on the hill.

I noticed the same thing I also experienced that with the first chair boots but after baking them and riding in them a couple days I wouldn’t want any other boot.
