Axis freestyle Toronto

does anyone go to axis often? I went once last season and had a sick time and they had a dope setup of big rails. I went a few weeks ago and all they had setup was a tiny rail and a box on the ground level section. I asked if we could move some features around and they’re like sorry these guys have booked lessons (dudes learning how to stand up on snowboards) and they were going over the roller/deck type thing so we couldn’t put rails there. Any idea when is a good time to go or has anyone had similar experiences?

Dont go when theres a private lesson, call ahead of time and confirm, we once had to move everything back after setting up a flat down... was a pain in the ass. same place too

in reality majority of their target customers are beginers that want to learn how to board/ski without having to spend money at the local hill, in fact they get busier during the winter...

Yea that’s shitty especially once you set it up, I’ll for sure call ahead next time because that tiny rail on the flats was a little underwhelming. Thanks dude

i was going to go this christmas for the airbag, but honestly bouler is better for that
I only view it as a last resort from what ive heard

I’m not sure if this is just bad timing but the airbag hasn’t been open when I’ve been there, it looks alright, like pretty mediocre but I can’t say how actually hitting it is

Airbags are an occasional I think

It looks pretty dope, apperently landings hurt the knees a little because there’s not bubblers but I haven’t hit it myself. I know freestyle Ontario teams train there a bunch I’m not sure how hard it is to just go individually, if you go let me know how it is
