IKON is actively promoting this and trying to sell more passes. Looks like they are trying to make it blatantly obvious that there is a college discount. How does this thread ruin anything?

They have a military discount too BTW.

This is a special deal given to college clubs and ski teams.....like a pro deal kind of.

Its 200 less than the discounted college pass and the military pass. They have made it very clear to us that this discount is not to be shared in any way.

How will it work with just any college ID then? Seems like you'd need the ID from a specific school if it's limited. Too bad if this newb messes things up but f they do just one code for all college ski clubs nationwide then I'm guessing they don't care and probably don't have a way to check. At some schools every student with an ID is automatically on the club/team.

Not sure how they check on his end.

On ours, a squaw (ikon) representative is coming to campus for kids in the club to purchase directly off them. She will have a list of our members etc. From our talks with them they are taking it fairly serious to not get this misused. So it's pretty sad that joe schmo is doing this.

I go to school at Utah and here they give the ski clubs the deal. In order to get the discount you need to be a member of the club and give proof that you are currently enrolled at the U. They give each person a specific code that can only be used once.

It definitely seems like they’re trying to keep this deal lowkey. Normally the club boasts of and announces their deal, however for the Ikon pass it was secret and you had to individually email the club to get any info.

Amazing deal for college kids tho, $320 off the normal cost

Damn bro you are upset, and wrong. The regular base pass is $699. Not sure what the old college discount was but now it’s $379. We’ve been told directly from the top to promote and sell it to active college students. But I’m glad you know more than me big guy.

No worries bro. I see the concern, but this isnt a pro deal or anything and I'm not selling them on behalf of my club. I'm paid by Ikon to sell them at the college price. Thought I would give NS first dibs. Didnt expect all the heat lol

If there is any discount/promo code available I would love to get it as well!!

I am an austrian ski-guide here for the winter(not for work, just skiing myself) and would love to get save some bucks.
I am also a student, but IKON doesnt verify european universities.....
