Searching for a new park ski, matching my 'style'

I'm looking for a new playful parkski.
Currently i'm skiing an armada ARVti 2014, but i notice it is quite heavy and stiff for me. (i am a lightweight, 65kg at 180cm)
I can ride the arvti on groomers hard and fast, but i am missing the playful part.

I would like to have a new ski for some fun on the groomers (jumping, riding switch, etc), and to jump some small kickers in the park.
So i guess i would need to look for a ski with some camber, not too stiff and not too heavy.
I'm kinda armada based; i started skiing 10 years ago on some pipe-cleaners (those are wrecked by now), had some older arv's, now skiing on an ARVti for normal days and a Norwalk for powderdays.

Biggest catch here is that i ski on one leg (lost half of my lefty 5 years ago), so edge grip is a thing. (lot's of rocker/no camber is really hard to ski)
All the popping needs to come from one leg, so i do think weight is something that needs to be considered.
I probably won't be doing much butters or railsliding. ;)
On 2 legs i did do some freestyle skiing, i used to jump some 360's and 540 on small/medium kickers.

When i'm looking at armada ski's, i think i would pick the arv 86, but there might be a lot more ski's out there suitable for my needs.
Any tips?

Respect for getting back out there man. I would look into the edollo, because it has a soft tip and rocker, but a stiff and cambered tail.

Just curious, are there ways to buy just one Ski? Or are you just getting skis essentially for double your money? (Ride one till its shitty then bust out the other?) Major props dude

and i think you're right that light and full camber is your best bet here. arv 86 is a good choice like you said, great ski and you can get it for a good price

gonna +1 edollos

Got to test them last year and I found the edge grip really surprising for how soft and playful the ski can be.

Edollos are super solid. Definitely playful and somewhat buttery but still solid and pretty wide under foot. Personally I’m now a Vishnu guy. They’re definitely butter skis (big time) but super durable and super lightweight. They’re kinda the same shape as jjs so lots of rocker and camber. Doesn’t sound like what your lookin for but definitely worth checking out for the hell of it. Keep the stoke alive man!!

I don't have a recommendation, the only armada ski I've ridden is the ARV96 and it's pretty rockered.

If you reach out to some of the smaller manufacturers you might be able to get a good deal on a single ski. I know 4frnt has had singles on their site, right now the only have a single Kye 120. Might be good to check with some of the boutique manufacturers and see both if they recommend a ski for you and if they have a single sitting around in storage.

Is there a price point or specific width you are looking for? If you are looking narrower I would say a pair of magnus 88s or or Wallisch’s would be a good choice, a little wider I would look at a pair of black crow camox’s, atris or dynasties slicers would be good options

My first thought was to look for something less wide then my current ARV-ti, with the weight reduction in mind. (and edge-switching might be a bit faster?)

The E-dollo's however look very nice, but can't find much about weight. will look for some more reviews on those!
How is this ski doing at higher speeds on groomers? i do like the fact it is very flexy, with my weight, this means more flex to play with. (something thats really an issue with my current ARVti, really struggling to get some power in and out of it)

And yes, i do need to buy ski's in pairs! :D My set of armada norwalks only has one binding mounted, the other ski is hanging on the wall in my living room ;)
I also have a few unused right boots!

i'm not bound to armada btw, will take a look at the wallisch!
My budget is quite flexible, i just want a ski that fits my wishes :) (after all, they will last twice as long!)

For my prostetic leg i wear a liner. When i go skiing, i take my leg off, but keep on the liner. Then a couple of big socks over the liner, to keep my leg warm.
When i went for slalom skiing (i tried competition racing for a year), i used to wear another thick foam liner, for some extra impact protection.

currently i have narrowed down to these ski's:
- ARV 96
- Line Chronic
- Line TWallish

The Edollo's look nice, but i think they will be a bit to flexy/buttery, might not give me the stability and edge-hold on higher speeds when i'm cruising the groomers.
I picked the arv96 over the arv86, because the extra width would give me a lot more stability.

i have added the chronic to the list, cause in the arv96 review (https://www.newschoolers.com/news/read/The-Roofbox-Review-2019-Armada-ARV-96), the cronic is mentioned as a bit more poppy.

i picked the Wallisch because it looks quite poppy, with a decent width. (and available at a near shop, so i could go there to check out the flex)

What are your thoughts?
I will wait for the chronic review, that might clear up some things aswel.
