Landing switch ejects me out of bindings

I have some marker squire bindings got em for $120 CAD at my local know nothing about skiing sport chek. what do i do to fix this.. :(

Take them to someone knowledgeable. There's a lot of things this could be but without being able to mess with the bindings, nobody can give you any real answers.

It's true.. squire are made for women/kids.
If I were you I would try to sell them before they break and then buy something else.. I had some as well and they pretty much exploded off my ski after landing switch off a rail ans not even a jump..

get new bindings. expect to pay double what you paid for your squires. griffons will have the same hold pattern.

Seriously, if you do this on squires I'm led to believe the heel pieces will simply explode...is this true?

Too much pressure if you tighten everything. It will either just pop you out due to the pressure or you won't pop out at all and break a leg... Buy proper binding (pivot 16 or 18)

This is the best answer. Take your skis and boots to a proper ski shop and have them take a look. They may not be adjusted properly, or you may be over skiing them and require a better pair of bindings.

Oh, and don't just go and buy a pair of Pivot 18s because some kid on the internet said so.

For real, there's a 99.99% chance that forward pressure is jacked up but OP needs to go to a shop.

I would guess that the brakes flex down into the snow from the overload of force on the cheap binding. when you are landing switch and this happens bad things ensue.

Fuck no 😂 They aren’t gonna sell a binding that blows up.. I have a pair of squires and altough I don’t love em they get the job done

All of this OP. Pretty new bindings are gonna be fine if they are set up right. I've had shops mess up my bindings and I've also been in situations where I was like g*#$ d$*% binding should not have released and then I later realized that it was the way I skied and/or landed and the binding was actually put into a situation where it should have released. Just get your stuff checked out and then you can be confident.

I had the same issue on Tyrolia Attack 11s. Took them to a ski shop and they said the forward pressure was messed up.
I just switched to Pivot 14s, since the skis I was riding on the 11s were starting to delam anyways.

**I am not a shop technician and my recommendation is only for diagnosis**

The way to check forward pressure on marker royals is to check the screw for sliding the heel piece. It should be flush with the plastic surrounding it, not sticking out, and not sitting deep inside. The other thing to check is the afd height. They way I set mine is by sliding a business card in there and getting it snug against the boots toe piece. I do this for my Jester pro's, which do not have a sliding afd, and the squires may allow this to be tighter because it will slide with your boot anyway.

PSA I have yet to break my orange fks 18's that I bought in 2015, I just hope I don't eject switch, fks brakes are a bitch to replace, cause you have to pull the entire heel piece out of the ski, and they're still like $70 to replace.
