Possible damage from ski hangers?

So about a year ago I was gifted a ski rack for my garage. Since it had been complimentary I decided to show my gratefulness for the gift and use them to hang my skis. However at the end of the summer, I had checked my skis and noticed that the tips seemed to be softer in the tips. After skiing them, they definitely didn't feel as stiff. A year later, I am preparing for the upcoming season and I've outgrown my boots which means its time for a binding remount. I've destroyed my Bdogs so those gotta go but I'm not ready to say goodbye to my JJ's. I was wondering if there is anyway to reverse any possible ski hanger damage that could've occurred or if this noticeable reduction in stiffness is simply from excessive use of the skis.

What kind of hanger was it? The ones that hangs the skis by the tips can be bad if the ski doesn't fit right. However, using skis also makes them noticeably softer overtime as well. No way to fix 'em though.

Pretty sure that a summer of hanging skis won't do nearly as much damage as just one day skiing on them.
