HELP ME PICK - daily driver, PNW - Moment, Faction, 4FRNT

I'm 6'3" 190 - aggressive skier, cliffs, flips, etc. (Baker) I have a big dedicated pow ski, looking for something for fast all mtn jibbing

I'm stuck between 3 options

186 Faction Prodigy 3.0
187 Moment Meridian 107
184 4FRNT Devastator

I'd probably be in love with any of these, but I'm looking for first-hand experience to help me pick the winner. Thanks!

The 107 Meridian 187 is my [6'2" / 150] go to all mountain jibbing ski. Very surfy and pivots on a dime, yet a stiffer core allows it to absolutely rail on anything that isn't bullet proof ice. Tons of fun on the side hits, in the tight trees, on the open chutes and especially just blasting down groomers.

Never rode the other skis....but I regret selling my devastators a lot. Such an unbelievably fun and capable ski. I'm prolly gunna pick up a new pair here soon.

He says "he has a big pow ski" not that he is a big pow skier, just for clarification.

Tough choice though, all those skis look great and I have no first hand experience to contribute either way.

Prodigy 3.0s are sick. Should have a review of them up soon, but they're super fun, surfy, and versatile. I've never skied Moments, but I don't think you could go wrong with any of the skis you listed. But get the Prodigy;)

I feel you in the size dept. im 6'4 200Lbs I went w the wave and got Kartel 108 in 191 which has been dank for all mountain nothing they cant handle

Just found a pair on sale and bought them! Stoked!!

@hot.pocket I see factory mount rec is -5cm from center. I'm riding switch regularly, and usually mount at about -2cm from center on pretty much every ski I have. Is being that far forward raise any flags - in your opinion?

Tyler and most of our athletes that are more park / switch oriented will mount at either -2 or -3 and don't seem to have any issues. I'd go for it if you enjoy riding switch a good portion of the time.

Oh, rad! The blister gear review made it sound like I was gonna ruin the ski by being that far forward. I guess I'll have to take their reviews with a grain of salt... they don't ride switch or get airborne much. (at least those reviewers)

Yeah, Jonathan and Paul are definitely directional skiers so I'm not surprised that they liked the recommended line (or in Jonathan's case, preferred it ~1cm behind the line).

I got on the ski this past spring and thought it felt great at the recommended line (for reference, I'm no freestyle aficionado but like to ski switch and jump off stuff). To me, the sweet spot on the ski felt pretty big, so I'm not surprised Moment's freestyle-oriented riders like it a bit forward. As someone who doesn't spin a lot, I thought the ski felt very balanced and had a surprisingly low swing weight when mounted on the recommended line, but as hot.pocket noted, if you spend a lot of time skiing switch it sounds like going a couple cm forward could work.

I really liked the ski so we're gonna try to get a 2nd look up on Blister this season to offer another perspective.

Faction Prodigy 3.0 for sure! I got on it a few times last season and had a lot of fun. Also, consider the CT3.0 if you want something more freestyle (vs. all mountain) oriented

just a versatile ski, and not nearly heavy as the 4.0 haha

The shop had sold them & didn't update their online stock - bummer... Not looking to drop another $200 on the 2019 version.

Guess I'm getting Devastators!

@patagonialuke I hope the extended review comes out, more info on that ski would be good! If I had ended up with them, I was planning to do my own review... oh well
