Help with a belief topic.

I'm taking a public speaking course and my first speech assignment is entitled "belief speech". I have to give a 4 minute speech on a topic I believe in. I'd like to make it about skiing but need to narrow down to just one thing. Could I speak on how I beleive in bluebird days, or how I believe DAWN PATROL is the greatest statement in the English laungue? You catch my drift. Any ideas? Maybe I believe in the 110+ underfoot or how the privatization from companies like vail and Alterra are ruing skiing or how they are advancing skiing? Maybe I believe sammy Carlson is the future of big mountain skiing while seth morrison laid the ground work? I beleive the twin tip is the single best idea in our sport allowing us to go bigger, deeper and faster than ever imagined. Do skiers like Candide, Hall, Tjader and harlaut prove we as skiers rule the mountain with knuckle draggers only wishing they could do what our inspirations and idols do on a daily? Can I talk for 4 or 5 minutes about full tilt boots? I dont know just thought I'd throw this out to fellow skiers and the trolls to ask for further input and suggestions. Because if I have to I'll talk about how I believe in free speech or net neautrality. I just would like to present to a lecture hall full of non skiers how sliding on snow and freezing your ass while doing it is what I believe in. Post up.

No way will I be talking about zane kushman. I have to keep somewhat PG-13. Sorry zane followers. Vaping and talking shit to 13 year olds while I enjoy it wouldn't go over well. Or would it???

Just have to get my gen ed out of the way. After this semester all I need to do is take a couple math classes then I can transfer up to klamath falls oregon to get my degree in geomatricans. That's a fancy word for land surveying. Perfect career. Little time outdoors, some time behind the desk using my mind to figure shit out but what drew me 2 the field is the opportunities one has with a ABET degree in surveying. The job is growing and needs to people with accredited degrees instead of the people who learned it just in the field. Real good pay and nearly most resort and ski oriented towns are hiring for projects. A lot of people in the field are retiring and demand should increase. Shit dude. Make close to 6 figures and more( if u are good and have some connections with attorneys or city planners). I have no problem becoming a weekend warrior with a good job that I can support myself with or a family while being able to afford some of luxuries in life. In 15 years if I'm living in a home say in tahoe with a truck and a sled that's my goal accomplished. Take days off early and get a few turns in before heading back to the office or home. That ski "bum" lifestyle with out the struggle of paying rent or worrying if I can pay my insurance. You'll never catch me on some rossi soul 7s or being that douch tells on some kid to a yellow jacket but fuck man job security and the ability to do the things I want sounds good 2 me.

Get a forestry and environment science undergrad and then a GIS graduate degree. Cool undergrad classes where you get to go outside, and a graduate degree that pays well and still allows you to work outside sometimes.

I'm taking a GIS course right now. I think in years past land surveying and GIS did not see eye 2 eye but in recent years with technology getting out of this world the two fields seem to be realizing that they can benefit from one another. I'm pretty set on surveying, it just seems like the right fit for me. In fact I'm going out 2day to square up some orchard fields with this older guy who's been showing me the ropes. Crazy to think they used to do it all with chains nowadays it's all computers and GPS. Still have 2 work on my geometry and trigonometry though.
