Length of Park Skis?

Hi All. Im heading out to France for the season this year and looking at getting a cheap pair of park skis to mess around on. Just something to learn on and have fun with.

I usually ski groomers/powder so not totally sure what Im looking for. I currently have a pair of Line Sick Day 110's. Im fairly short, 175cm, what ski/length/waist would you guys suggest?

Is 175 not too big? Don't I need to go shorter so it's easier to spin etc?

For sure man you could go shorter. I re read your post and seeing how you are just getting into park that wouldn't be such a bad idea but since you are an an experienced skier say you catch on quick and you might want to start skiing more park. 170 or 175 you cant go wrong. As for width I'd say anything in the high 80 and 90 region. Like someone else said earlier line have decent park skis for a good price or go gently used and save yourself a couple hundred dollars. Have fun this season.

Thanks man, Ill definitely take a look at Line and see what I can find! Think I will go for a pair of used 170s.

Where in France are you going? You might want to wait until you move to buy them (there are lots of really good deals online here).

What would you recommend? Would be nice to have something that’s a bit softer and spins well?

Line Blend, Chronic and Honey Badger are all soft, come in 171, and shouldnt be to expensive

Dope! Ive been out there 4 times for week long holidays over the years, Its my first season though. Any recommendations for my time out there?

Getting a ski close to your height won't feel as slow or big as you think. Centre mounting makes a huge difference in that regard if you're not used to it. If you're thinking of a line ski, they also measure a little shorter by a straight tape measurement. Honey badgers are a forgiving, more economical ski that could work well.

Thanks man, I didn’t even think about the mounting. I noticed my Sick Days are way shorter. I’ll take a look at the Honey Badgers!
