So I demoed a bunch of skis last season at my local resorts demo day. It ruined me. I've realized all the skis I ride are shit and holding me back. By far my favorite ski was the 2019 bent chetler. Super lightweight, turned on a dime. Buttered off Backcountry pillows. No chatter in the chop, cuts through the crud underneath. I just can't get over how well it rode. The 2018 version was missing 70% of those features. And I definitely can't afford the 2019 right now.
Anybody have suggestion for skis that are a few years old now that might ride like them?
I'm a very aggressive skier. I'll be using it for backountry, touring, deep days, post deep days, and just all around big sends.
I'm 6'2" & 170lbs. 24 years old, skiing since I was 8.
I always ski whatever piece of shit ski I find on the local classifieds so I'm terrible when it comes to knowing about what new ski to buy.
Current arsenal that I use:
2011 Atomic atlas 192, 125 under foot (super heavy)
2009 line anthem (super dope)
2010 Scott P4 181, 108 under foot (missing 8" of edge and allot of base)
Thanks
