MidwestSkiierHey NS, i ski all park in the midwest, loved the 2016 Thall, but they don't make it anymore. i've looked at moment frankenski and fat-ypus g-butter for their durable reputation. I'm wondering if I am missing any other brands besides on3p and icelantic that are vvv good in durability. all the old threads say armada thalls, HG skis, and a couple other brands that have gone out of buisness or lost their reputation. im willing to spend the 600$ range but it would be nice to save
f100prerunnerNot sure how soft you’re looking to go but apparently vishnus are extremely durable
NZeskimobroFat pus are fucking dope cop the gs. Plus they're on sale
LonelyFellow midwesterner here. I skied the moment Frankenskis for a good while and they were extremely durable and only showed some light cosmetic wear after two seasons of rails, rocks and concrete. The mustache rocker is also unbelievably fun.
MidwestSkiierwhat does the actual topsheet look like, all i can find is the render and it seems like it might just be a blurry mess as a final product. thats my main reservation on those
DominatorJacquesNo such thing as a "Bomb Proof" ski.
Top sheet design should not even be a consideration when looking for a ski. Performance should be all you look for.
MidwestSkiierBombproof is obviously an exaggeration, and when im looking at two skis that are very durable, and will perform great, i think topsheet is certainly a factor. its called a goddamn opinion i like to have one. im not going to ride around on some moldy green fuzz because it performs a little better than a goddamn lazer shark. if performance was a big gap ill ride that moldy mother. but its not, so im going for good look and performance because i can.

Andrew_Myou should look at some Nomad 95's from Icelantic, 3 year warranty, $650, fucking so fun and the most durable pair of park skis I've ridden

skiP.E.I.All skis break for sure. That being said, I used the same '08 volkl Karmas since 2011 or so...park, urban, big mountain, daily driver. I still take them out sometimes of retirement for the home setup.
In one sense, I agree about graphics not making a difference. No one should decide to buy skis simply based on what they look like. However I think most people would still rather have a graphic they like than one they don't care about. I'm willing to pay a little extra for a ski I love the look of over a less interesting one. It is hard to find a twintip that has 'bad' graphics nowadays.
