When to buy equipment?

When should I start looking for equipment, and when do the manufacturers usually release new stuff? Right now there is pretty much nothing in stock. I am looking to buy a new pair of boots.

New stuff usually comes out in september/October best time to buys is probably like June/July. But if you need a boot fitter then your gonna be paying a bit more anyway.

Yea most shops won't have shit for boots right now but if you hit up a ski swap in October you'll always find some good deals on last years boots.

products are arriving into shops at the moment, we just got Salomon ski and ride snowboards today. The best time is once all brands are in a shop. That way you have the most selection of models and sizes.

Ring around a few shops and find out when they start bootfitting. Don't wait though, as boots sell out you will not have as much selection so get in early.

Memorial Day to like end of July. After that stuff starts going back up.

Right now. There's tons of boots wicked discounted online. I just got some K2 Spyne's for $150 new from evo.
