KulharinHow do people do this, where it looks like they are almost sitting down on there skis, often in flat sections to maintain speed.

BigPurpleSkiSuitSki patrol dont give a fuck, I lazyboy straightlined the entirety of big emma one day and no one cared, of course it wasn't that busy cause it was a spring afternoon, but I have yet to hear a story where someone got talked to by anyone for doing a lazyboy.

freestyler540Its because you live out west. When I lived out East, my buddies would get their passes pulled. Straightlining is illegal there; out west, I would straightline the entire mountain and get cheered on

DesertStixSeriously wondering why ski patrol would care...?
RparrSki patrol are a different animal at tiny Midwest/east coast hills. The smaller the resort, the bigger jackasses they are
DesertStixI sure won’t be skiing anymore east of where I am then. Damn...
Rparrdon't worry you're not missing much. I'll give you an example of prime midwest ski patrol. There was once a kid down on the last set of rails at my home resort's park. There were 5+ patrollers tending to him, and they started aggressively blowing their whistle and waving their arms at me because I was hitting a rail like halfway up the hill from their big mess. They kept yelling at me to stop, and I didn't, so one of them literally dove and tried to swipe me with his ski pole as I skied past them. It was absolutely absurd. I am not going to be told that I can't hit a rail 100+ feet away from a downed kid. Ski patrol is a big joke here.
