Been off the skis nearly 20 months now after tearing my acl and absolutely shredding my medial meniscus. I'm gonna try and get back on skis in the next 2 months but my knee's still in a bad way and I want to play it as safe as possible. I was thinking of getting some pivots but are they really worth the extra weight/money in terms of knee safety? I realise knee bindings would be best for this purpose but no one else really seems to use them and not very easy to get here.
If they really do make a difference I'll go for it, but if not I've got a pair of griffon 13's I can just slap on.
