Got myself booked in for Acl reconstruction surgery in a few months and just looking for advice on a few things.
What tendon to get the graft from? The doc said the options are patella or hamstring. Anyone who has had it done or knows anything which would you recommend? or if ti even matters. I ski park mostly if thats relevant...
Also anyone know the best stuff to do at the gym for both before and after the opp?
Cheers Gs

I'm not gonna lie to you, these seem like questions you wanna ask your doctor, not NS.

Dr. NS here,
It looks like you are suffering from a issue in your tendon. While you are focusing on your recovery at the gym, remember. Low and slow. You are working on rebuilding a tendon, not muscle. Tendons take a minimum of 6 months to heal. A larger tear like you have could take substantially longer.

Hello baggis123,
Honestly, bro, you just need to icy hot that shit, 5 times a day. all the times and it will heal itself without a surgery. A years worth of icyhot is only about a few hundred smackaroos versus expensive surgeries in state hospital. Make sure to also apply some to the genatalia area, it is extremely soothing way to detox the body and relax.
Sincerely,
