Anyone use power rail bindings?

SkiSnowBoarderJust curious if people here have used power rail bindings and how they compare to typical bindings. Seems like it would be a huge benefit to be able to not only move bindings fore and aft (which can be done with demos) but move the bindings to other skis in a quiver so long as plates are on each one. Also seems like for traveling being able to lay skis flat would be super useful. But of course if performance is terrible all of this is moot.

My kid's skis both have marker fastrak system bindings and they're really easy to adjust and haven't caused any issues.

The problem for a lot of people is the plate will have a great effect on the flex of the ski and also the stack height is 33.5mm which is tall. Weight is not too bad coming in at 2060 for the multi-boot sole compatible units.

You can use quiver-killer or other inserts if you want to mount the same binding on different skis and also lay flat for travel, then you can use whatever binding you want.

More moving parts usually mean more weight and more things to break. Just choose a mount and learn the ski.

I used demo bindings for most of the season until hearing that it puts a pretty big dead spot in the middle of the ski where it can’t really flex. I would go with normal bindings. Switched to marker griffons this spring and there a bit lighter and the skis feel and little more playful.

The demos bindings also started to wiggle around on the track a little which got kinda sketchy
